Doing My Own Thing….(some would say, shooting myself in the foot)

I’m working towards an exhibition/event. This is one of twenty hand -drawn ink covers…each of which contains a random group of eight of my poems. They will form part of the exhibition. I’m hoping to do some printed versions from the originals….to sell to fund the exhibition. What could go wrong?  Nobody giving a fook I suppose. I don’t have the time or people skills to create a fan base…..

I am Stimulating Company

Tomorrow my son is coming over to collect a painting I bought off him last year. It’s one of the several artworks of his selected for a group art show in London. I’m a proud parent.
I’m looking forward to seeing him, and as you can see from the photo I took on a recent visit, he will be looking forward to a stimulating conversation with me: the whole family hang on my every word.
